Key Frame colourist on the official animated music video for Grant Green by Mr Jukes and Charles Bradley. Mr Jukes is the solo project of Jack Steadman, frontman of the indie band Bombay Bicycle Club, while Charles Bradley was widely regarded as one of modern soul music’s most celebrated voices. The project was produced by Strange Beasts and directed by Anna Ginsburg and Parallel Teeth for Island Records. 

 

Working within a large animation team under a demanding production schedule the role focused on colouring key frames across the film, helping establish visual consistency and support the vibrant psychedelic aesthetic. As a first major professional animation project, it provided valuable experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary creative pipeline while contributing to a release that accumulated 1.8M views on YouTube with the track itself surpassing 10.8M streams on Spotify.
